"LONDON - Six Dutch players in Rotterdam have broken the world non-stop gaming record recently. They played Red Dead Redemption for 50 hours.
The six men broke the old record from September last year by Chirantan Patnaik of India by almost ten hours.
They did so during the Twist Dock Endurance Gaming Event in Rotterdam. The record gives the gamers a place in the Guinness Book of World Records.
The six began Friday afternoon at 12.55 hours and played the game continuously thereafter until Sunday afternoon. They unanimously decided to stop after 50 hours. The Dutch were granted the title from a representative of Guinness World Records.
'The participants came in as opponents and left as world record holders and friends.'"
