RDR Takes 5 Out of 9 Awards at AIAS IAA

That's a lot of A's but well deserved to Rockstar and Red Dead Redemption who took 5 awards out of 9 nominations from the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (IAA) at their 14th annual Interactive Acheievement Awards (IAA) ceremony in Las Vegas last night. Here's a round up:

- Outstanding Achievement in Art Direction
- Outstanding Achievement in Game Play Engineering
- Outstanding Character Performance - Rob Wiethoff as John Marston
- Action Game of the Year
- Outstanding Achievement in Game Direction

- Game of the Year (Mass Effect 2)
- Outstanding Achievement in Animation (God of War III)
- Outstanding Achievement in Sound Design (LIMBO)
- Outstanding Innovation in Gaming (Heavy Rain)
Action Game of the Year is better than no Game of the Year. Still took home 5 awards which was the most of any game at the show so congrats once again to Rockstar Games and Red Dead Redemption!
