Inside Diego's train, we see a number of soldiers gathered, standing around.
"What? Did you forget how to use those rifles!" asks Diego as he arrives, causing the soldiers to jump to attention.
"I have had enough!" rages Diego. "A thousand pieces in gold to the man who brings me that gringo's head" he offers to his men before walking off down the train.

When the level starts, you'll be in control of Red who is riding a horse and chasing after Diego's train. A message at the top of the screen explains "Get near the train and press Square to jump onto it".
As you run towards the train,a number of enemies will pop out of the windows of the third carriage along. You can shoot them from horseback, but in my opinion, you're best off ignoring them completely for now. Run past the third carriage and get alongside the flatter and emptier 4th carriage.
As you pull alongside, assuming you're keeping the horse facing forward, the game will suggest pressing Square to jump to the train. You can keep mashing the Square button as you run alongside the train so Red jumps across at his first opportunity as the controls can be a bit fiddly.
Once you're on the train, turn around and you'll be able to see inside the carriage with the windows where the enemies were shooting from. Feel free to head inside and take down four enemies. This is an ideal place to get a large combo, particularly using Deadeye.
Once they're all down, head back out onto the empty wooden carriage you first landed on, then turn around and jump against the metal carriage which contained the enemies. You'll need to climb up onto the roof so you can move down the train towards the large mounted gun.
You'll probably want to dodge-roll on your way down the train as the machine gun will open fire, then drop down into the gap between the carriages when you reach the gun.
There's a small red lever between the carriages. If you shoot it a couple of times, it'll eventually cause the train to separate, leaving the gun carriage behind. The game will explain "Train cars can be decoupled".
Climb back up onto the roof of the metal carriage and face to the side where your horse is. Every now and then you'll see a message to press Square to jump back to your horse, so once again just mash the Square button and eventually Red will leap from the train and end up back in control of the horse. You don't need to go back to the wooden carriage you landed on to jump back to the horse.
As soon as you're back on horseback, try to adjust the camera controls so you're facing forward and chasing after the train. Sometimes the camera can point the wrong way and if you run too far in the opposite direction, you'll fail the level for losing Diego. A message will usually appear saying "Diego is escaping. You are too far from the train".
Keep running forward and you'll start taking fire from a mounted machine gun at the front of the empty wooden carriage you landed on before. Ignore it and keep running forward. A number of enemies will pop out of the next carriage and shoot at you, but again just ignore them and continue onwards.
Eventually you'll reach a carriage with a red lever on the door. A message explains "This door is locked, but it can be opened". From horseback, aim and shoot at the lever and the carriage will open.
Run alongside it and mash Square to trigger a jump from the horse into the train.
Turn around and you'll spot four or five enemies in this carriage which you can take out for some cash, ammo and potentially health bottles if you need them.
Ultimately, there's another small red lever near the entrance doorway you jumped through. Shoot it a few times and the train will decouple again.
The camera cuts to a small handcar train on a nearby track with an old guy known as "Blind Willy" Wilson who is pumping a lever to keep it moving along with Diego's train. There's a mounted gatling gun at the front.
"Howdy stranger! Sure is a lot of traffic on this here line today, ain't there?" he asks as the camera cuts back to Red, facing out of the train carriage.
You now need to jump back to your horse when it appears, so keep mashing Square and you'll leap to it whenever it's available.
Once you're back on the horse you should ride over to the other track where you'll spot Blind Willy's handcar. Make sure you don't run too far in the wrong direction or you can fail with a similar message to earlier which states "Diego is escaping. You are too far from the train".
As you reach the smaller train cart, once again mash Square in order to jump from the horse onto it.
Once on board, press Square to take control of the gatling gun. Be careful on the handcar though because you can fall off and the time you'll take waiting to get back on your horse will likely cause you to lose the train and fail the mission.
There'll be a number of enemies on horseback to the right, as well as soldiers popping out of the train and shooting at you, but the primary objective from now on is to stop the train. If you aim towards the front of Diego's train, you'll see the engine is covered in rusty metal armor. Aiming at it will make the crosshair turn red, which should indicate this is something you should shoot at.
You don't actually have to run over to the handcar with Blind Willy, but you run the risk of being knocked off your horse by enemies if you stay near the train which is almost certainly going to cause a failure. You can just use your pistol to shoot the front of the train from horseback if you want to.
Spray bullets at the armor and eventually bits of it will fall off. You don't need to knock it all off, but you should try to take a few pieces away from near the chimney at the front of the train. Once you do, keep firing shots into the engine and eventually it'll explode and the train will come to a stop.
Red will automatically abandon the gatling gun and run straight across the field towards the train while it's exploding which does feel a little awkward, especially as enemies will probably still be shooting at you, but thankfully this is the end of this level.
There are no rewards for completing this mission as it rolls onto the next mission automatically.
After completing the story, you'll be able to replay each mission in "Bounty Hunter Mode" which includes an optional objective to complete. Beating the mission and completing the objective will provide a reward.
- Objective

- Reward
- Cheat Unlocked: "No Distortion" - All camera distortion is removed from the gameplay ensuring a much sharper image.
Tips
In order to get a large combo, you're actually best off disabling the "Golden Gun" cheat and also ensure you select the weakest weapon you have when you start the mission. You don't want to kill enemies in one shot, you want to shoot them multiple times to increase their value before you kill them.
If you have these cheats unlocked, enable Invincibility and Infinite Deadeye. When the mission starts, run past all of the enemies who are popping out of the windows and shooting at you and get to the part of the train you can jump onto.
Once inside the train just keep using Deadeye and target the enemies feet and hands. You'll probably be able to hit them 4 or 5 times before you kill them which will increase the combo value to $20 or $30. Continue to keep the streak going by shooting more enemies within a few seconds in their hands and feet and you'll end up with something like "$60x2". Quickly work your way through the remaining enemies and shoot them before the combo ends and you'll should have enough to pass the $200 total.
The game will tell you that you completed the challenge when your combo ends, although you'll still need to complete the mission destroy the front of the train. Once you see the combo has been achieved, turn on Golden Gun again to make the remainder of the mission and easier.
If you don't get the combo during the first part of the mission, you should probably just restart it, although you can try a similar technique at the second 'jump to train' section if you ignore the enemies on the way to shooting the door open. It's much quicker to attempt it at the first section of the train though and you can quickly restart if you fail.
All Bounty Hunter challenges are much easier if you unlock and enable the "Invincibility", "Infinite Deadeye" and "Golden Gun" cheats. For more info, read about Cheats in Red Dead Revolver.
