There are 365 pages in Sheriff Bartlett's journal. You'll need to purchase items or complete various side tasks to unlock them all.
In Red Dead Revolver, the main menu is mostly controlled from the desk in Sheriff Bartlett's office. The second option, over to the right contains the Journal which displays information about everything there is to know in the game, from locations, characters, weapons and items to your Showdown and gameplay stats.
There's no official "100%" completion list for Red Dead Revolver, but the closest you'll get is unlocking 100% of the journal, which will pretty much require you to do everything in the game anyway!
Some pages are available from the start of the game, however the majority will be unlocked when you purchase or unlock items from shopkeepers, complete chapters in the story and Bounty Hunter mode and play Showdown mode.
The journal is broken down into different sections, each contains an index which allows you to quickly jump to a specific unlocked page. Page 0 and 1 are the main index which list the different sections. The first 2 pages of each section displays the index for the section. Click below to jump to a specific entry.
There are 138 journal entries in total. 15 of them are already unlocked at the start of the game, so that leaves 123 you'll need to unlock through gameplay.
Info
You're automatically given at least a "Good" rating in story mode whenever you complete a chapter, so any unlocks tied to this will be listed as unlocked by 'completing the chapter'.
If you pass at least 3 of the 4 target scores for Accuracy, Damage Taken, Time and Best Combo in a chapter, you'll get the "Excellent" rating.
There's only 1 journal entry which requires an excellent rating - "Mr. Kelley". The rest can all be unlocked with relatively expensive purchases (ranging from $300-$2500). If you're struggling to get the Excellent ratings, don't worry about them and instead focus on saving money to purchase the items on your second playthrough.
Many of the journal entries are missable. If you don't purchase them before, during or after specific chapters, you may be unable to acquire them until you do another playthrough. You should have enough money to purchase all items during your second playthrough.
