Showdown Characters

Showdown mode is Red Dead Revolver's multiplayer deathmatch-style game mode. It's available from the second you start the game, however you'll only start off with a small roster of characters to choose from. As you play through the story and complete challenges, such as completing levels, earning "Excellent" ratings or beat levels in Bounty Hunter mode - or purchase unique items from shops throughout the game - you'll gradually unlock new characters to use.

Here is the full list of all 48 Showdown Characters you can use in Red Dead Revolver, ordered by their position in the roster, from top left to bottom right.

Most of the characters can be unlocked in 2 ways - either by completing an objective, or by purchasing a specific item. Generally the items tied to Showdown Characters are the most expensive things you'll purchase in the game, so completing the objectives allows you to unlock them for free, albeit in challenging circumstances.
