Red Dead RevolverRed Dead Revolver - Story Mission Guide

Brimstone 4

Published by Psy

Red arrives in Brimstone for the fourth time following a battle with Mr. Black in Tarnation's Cemetery.

At various points of the story, Red will end up in Brimstone. This works as a sort of interlude between missions and you're free to explore the town, speak to the citizens and visit a number of shops to purchase items - including weapons and useful upgrades - with your hard earned cash.

Each time you visit Brimstone, the shop inventory will slightly differ, so if you want to buy everything in the game, you'll need to purchase everything they have each time you visit. You'll struggle on your first playthrough as you probably won't have enough money though, but be aware that many of the most expensive items can be unlocked for free by completing in-game challenges.

For full information on shop items, please see our detailed guide.

Shop Items
Before, during or after most levels you'll be able to purchase items from the shop which unlocks showdown characters and levels and journal entries. Find out about everything there is to buy here.

Once you're done shopping, enter the Sheriff's office to view a cutscene.

Cutscene

Red speaks with Sheriff Bartlett who says to him "You're one hell of a bounty hunter, Mister. You'd make me one fine deputy".

"I just want my money" replies Red.

"From what I hear the wagon hasn't arrived with the banks' gold. You'll have to take that up with Mr. Peabody, the bank manager" says the Sheriff as he passes over a deed for the money owed to Red.

You'll appear outside and now the Bank is open, so head inside to trigger another cutscene.

Cutscene

Red enters the bank where a number of citizens are waiting in line to be seen.

A woman can be heard talking, who says "I just need one more week! I can pay you the $5,000 that I owe, but the Governor is bribing my ranch hands to leave, I can't do it by myself".

The camera cuts to the back room of the bank where a woman, Annie Stoakes, is talking to Mr. Peabody, the bank manager.

Peabody asks her "Well, why don't you just sell up to the Governor. You could always move into town and work in the saloon".

Annie angrily stands up, leaning over the desk and demands "The Saloon! How dare you! I just need one more week!"

"I don't think the owner of the bank would approve" replies Mr. Peabody.

"Well maybe I can speak with him myself" asks Annie.

"I'm sorry, but the governor is too busy for the likes of you" replies the bank manager as Red walks into the room.

"To hell with that evil son of a bitch! He's mined enough gold out of Bear Mountain! What the hell does he want with my damn ranch!" fumes Annie. As she storms out of the room, she inadvertantly walks straight into Red who is standing in the doorway.

"Ma'am?" says Red as his tips his hat to her before she leaves the bank.

"I'm sorry, sir. How may I be of assistance?" asks Mr. Peabody.

"I want my money!" demands Red, handing over the deed he received from Sheriff Bartlett.

"We have a small problem" responds Peabody.

"Then tell me about the gold in Bear Mountain that young lady was talking about" requests Red.

"I'm sorry, I can't disclose anything about our clients" says Peabody before Red grabs him by the collar and lifts him up.

"Then tell me where she lives. And when I get back, you better have my gold!" says Red.
