Trophies

There are 13 trophies to unlock in the PlayStation 4 (PSN) version of Red Dead Revolver. Find out what you need to do here.

Red Dead Eye

Complete a chapter with 100% accuracy.

Bronze Trophy

You need to finish an entire chapter without missing any shots. Every shot you fire must hit an enemy. This is easiest in Chapter 1 (Bull's Eye) as there are only 11 enemies. It's best to shoot right after an enemy finishes moving position.

Bull's Eye
Red Harlow helps his parents fight off a bandit attack on their family home.

If you miss a shot, you can restart the chapter either from the "score" screen, or by pressing the Touch Pad and selecting "Restart Chapter".

This trophy is technically Missable as it's possible to beat the entire game without unlocking it.

Quick On The Draw

Win a duel in Story mode.

Bronze Trophy

You'll need to do this as part of the story, so it's unmissable. It'll happen first during Chapter 3 - Ugly Streetfight.

Ugly Streetfight
Red avenges the murder of his dog in the town of Widow's Patch.

Full Boat

Get a Full House in Showdown with Hold 'Em power ups.

Bronze Trophy

You'll need to do this in Showdown, which is Red Dead Revolver's local (optionally split-screen) multiplayer mode. You can do it solo while playing against the AI controlled enemies, or you can play against a human with a second controller to make it slightly easier.

Enter Showdown mode and select at least 2 characters from your available selection. Ensure each character is on a different team by changing their background color by pressing Square.

When you've selected the character YOU want to use, press Circle to view the Options, the click Player Options and assign the character to your profile which you've been using to play through single player.

Continue through the settings until you reach the Stage selection screen and press Circle again to bring up the game options. It's best to select "Sundown" for a time-based match, and set the time limit to 15 minutes to give you more time to try to unlock the trophy. Ensure you have the Power-up option as "Hold'Em".

Once in-game, you need to kill your opponent over and over. Each time they die, they'll drop a playing card. You need to acquire a "Full House" which essentially means you need 3 of one card and 2 of another, for example 3 Aces and 2 Queens, or 3 Fives and 2 Eights etc.

When your opponent drops a card, it'll be randomly assigned. If it's not one you need, you can shoot it and it'll blow up. Be quick though because sometimes it'll be automatically added to your collection after a certain amount of time and you can't get rid of cards once they're in your collection. Either collect it or shoot it to blow it up before killing your opponent again and hoping for a better card.

The only real way to clear your cards if you pick up one you don't want is to collect 5 cards then they'll all be removed and you'll start from scratch.

Keep playing until you're able to collect 3x2 cards then the trophy should unlock immediately.

Hats Off

Get six fatal headshots in six consecutive shots with a pistol in Story mode.

Bronze Trophy

You need to kill 6 enemies in a row with headshots. Once again this is easiest in Chapter 1. You can skip the training area then run back towards the house and kill the enemies. Take your time to line up your shots and ensure you kill each enemy with a headshot. If you miss a shot, or don't get a headshot kill, you're best off restarting the chapter and trying again.

You can wait until after your first playthrough and unlock the "Invincibility" cheat in Bounty Hunter mode which will give you much more time to line up your shots.

Gunslinger

Get a combo for over $500 in Story mode on any difficulty.

Bronze Trophy

It's best to wait until after your first playthrough to go for this one, although you might get it naturally on some of the busier, more enemy-filled levels.

The best way to get a large combo is to shoot enemies with a weak weapon multiple times in their feet or hands. Each time you hit an enemy you'll increase the monetary value of the potential combo. For example it may start off at $2 for a single hit, but after 4 or 5 shots to their feet, it could be up to $20 or $30.

Once they die, shoot another enemy quickly (within 3 seconds or so, or the combo will end) and shoot them multiple times in the feet until they die. By now you should have a combo of $50x2 or more.

Continue for a few more enemies and you'll eventually pass $100x5 or something similar. Stop shooting for a few seconds and the combo will end, unlocking the trophy.

This is MUCH easier if you've unlocked the "Infinite Deadeye" cheat as you can keep using Deadeye to target the enemies legs which helps to keep the streak going.

Also remember to turn off the "Golden Gun" cheat if you have it enabled as it'll usually kill enemies in a single shot which isn't what you want for this! Remember to use a weak weapon too. The idea is to shoot enemies as many times as possible before they die.

Untouchable

Complete any chapter on Very Hard without taking damage.

Bronze Trophy

You can use the cheats you'll unlock on lower difficulty runs in Very Hard, without it disabling trophies. As a result, you can just turn on the "Invincibility" cheat and beat Chapter 1 for easy completion.

Historical Account

Complete the Journal.

Bronze Trophy

You need to unlock all pages in the journal. There are 327 pages in total, and you'll usually unlock 2-3 pages each time it's updated. You'll need to complete the entire game and play Showdown Mode before you can complete this.

The Journal is broken down into the following sections:

  • Heroes (5 entries, pages 4-23)
  • Side Arms (8 entries, pages 26-41)
  • Ranged Weapons (12 entries, pages 44-67)
  • Thrown Weapons (4 entries, pages 70-77)
  • Ugly Chris' Gang (5 entries, pages 80-89)
  • Prof. Perry's Peculiarities (7 entries, pages 92-105)
  • Outlaws in Twelve States (16 entries, pages 108-139)
  • Wanted - Dead or Alive (13 entries, pages 142-167)
  • Renegade Army (8 entries, pages 170-185)
  • Memories of the Past (3 entries, pages 188-193)
  • Citizens of the Wilderness (11 entries, pages 196-217)
  • Good People of Brimstone (11 entries, pages 220-241)
  • Contestants in the Battle Royale (3 entries, pages 244-249)
  • Merchants of Brimstone (8 entries, pages 252-267)
  • Protectors of Brimstone (7 entries, pages 270-283)
  • Frontier Places (17 entries, pages 286-327)
  • Frontier Battles
Journal Entries
There are 365 pages in Sheriff Bartlett's journal. You'll need to purchase items or complete various side tasks to unlock them all.

Well Provisioned

Unlock all additional content available for purchase in the Shop.

Bronze Trophy

You must buy every item available from each vendor in the game, however some vendors are only available before or during specific chapters. If you miss any items, you'll have to start a new game as there's no chapter select.

You won't be able to complete this on your first playthrough as you probably won't have enough money to buy everything. Money carries over to your next playthrough though, as does everything you've already purchased so it'll be much easier to get everything else the next time through.

Shop Items
Before, during or after most levels you'll be able to purchase items from the shop which unlocks showdown characters and levels and journal entries. Find out about everything there is to buy here.

Out For Blood

Complete every chapter in Bounty Hunter mode.

Bronze Trophy

Bounty Hunter mode is unlocked once you beat the game for the first time. You'll replay 20 chapters from story mode with an additional objective you'll have to complete during each chapter.

Tasks range from beating the level in a specific time limit, keeping your companions health up, finding secrets hidden around the level or achieving a specific combo.

Each bounty will unlock a Showdown character, including their journal entry, or a cheat you can use in Story Mode. Once you've unlocked cheats you can activate them from the pause menu - and they can be used for the remaining challenges.

You can play the chapters in any order, so it's recommended to start with these ones as they unlock the most useful cheats first.

  1. Chapter 27 (Fall From Grace): Invincibility
  2. Chapter 25 (The Siege): Golden Guns
  3. Chapter 24 (Battle Finale): Infinite Deadeye

Invincibility, as you may expect, means you don't lose any health no matter how many times you get shot. You can't die!

Golden Gun makes you deal more damage to enemies without receiving more damage when you're shot. You'll pretty much kill all non-boss enemies in a single shot and bosses will take increased damage from each shot.

With Infinite Deadeye unlocked and turned on, your deadeye meter will not decrease when you use it, so you can use it over and over as long as you have ammo.

Each of our story mission guides have detailed tips on how to beat their Bounty Hunter challenge.

Peashooter

Complete the game on Normal difficulty.

Bronze Trophy

Complete all 27 chapters on Normal difficulty.

The trophy will unlock once you beat the 27th Chapter (Fall From Grace) and click "Continue" on the score screen.

When you play through for the first time, don't worry about completing any challenges or purchasing items etc. It doesn't matter if you die or fail and have to restart from checkpoints, just fight your way through every level. Some of them can be quite tricky but once you finish the game you can start unlocking cheats which makes everything else super easy.

Six Shooter

Complete the game on Hard difficulty.

Silver Trophy

Unlock the cheats in Bounty Hunter mode then use Invincibility to ease your way through the chapters. Invincibility doesn't work for duels however, so you'll just need to "git gud" at those. Golden Gun and Infinite Deadeye are two other cheats you should unlock before starting your Hard playthrough as they'll make the game a lot easier too.

The trophy will unlock once you beat the 27th Chapter (Fall From Grace) and click "Continue" on the score screen.

Sharp Shooter

Complete the game on Very Hard difficulty.

Gold Trophy

Unlock the cheats in Bounty Hunter mode then use Invincibility to ease your way through the chapters. Invincibility doesn't work for duels however, so you'll just need to "git gud" at those. A number of the chapters are still challenging as there's a lot of random luck involved when it comes to protecting your AI companions, or your stagecoach from enemies.

If you have Invincibility, stick as close as you can to your companions and protect them from damage as they can die very easily. Use Golden Gun and Infinite Deadeye too which will make the combat a lot quicker and easier.

The trophy will unlock once you beat the 27th Chapter (Fall From Grace) and click "Continue" on the score screen.

Manny Quinn

Complete a chapter in Red Wood Revolver mode.

Bronze Trophy (Hidden)

Red Wood Revolver mode is unlocked after you complete the game on Normal and then Hard difficulty. You can complete this trophy quite easily by completing Chapter 1.

You'll play as a wooden mannequin (hence the name Manny Quinn!). When you try to activate Deadeye with R2, he'll actually set himself on fire, which spreads and can burn and kill the enemies.

You only need to complete Chapter 1 to unlock the trophy, then you can quit back to the main menu.
