Bollard Twins Outfit

HOW TO OBTAIN:

Complete all of the following requirements to unlock the suit.

• Scrap 1: Search Thieves' Landing - Look for the big warehouse near the southern entrance to Thieves' Landing. Enter the building and go upstairs. The chest you need to open is in a back room upstairs.

• Scrap 2: Complete a Nightwatch job in MacFarlane's Ranch

• Scrap 3: Win at Horseshoes in MacFarlane's Ranch

• Scrap 4: Claim a Bollard Twins Gang bounty alive

• Scrap 5: Defend residents of Hennigan's Stead from the Bollard Twins Gang - Pay attention to the random ambient missions (blue dots) on the map. You'll eventually run across one that asks you to assist the residents of Hennigan's Stead. I personally found it not far from the Warthington Ranch while traveling along the main road.

• Scrap 6: Purchase the scrap piece at the Thieves' Landing tailor

HOW TO OBTAIN:

• Scrap 3: Make a profit playing Blackjack at Rathskeller Fork

• Scrap 4: Claim a Treasure Hunter bounty alive

• Scrap 5: Complete Gaptooth Breach Hideout - You must first complete Irish's mission "Man is Born Unto Trouble" in the same location before the gang hideout becomes available.

Bandito Outfit

HOW TO OBTAIN:

Complete all of the following requirements to unlock the outfit.

• Scrap 1: Search Sidewinder Gulch - Open up your map and look for the 3 little black squares in the Gulch that represent buildings. The one by itself has the treasure chest.

• Scrap 2: Complete a Nightwatch job in Chuparosa

• Scrap 3: Defeat all players in a round of Liar's Dice in Casa Madrugada

• Scrap 4: Claim a Bandito bounty alive

• Scrap 5: Defend the residents of Mexico from Bandito attacks - Pay attention to the random ambient missions (blue dots) on the map. You'll eventually run across one that asks you to assist the residents of Mexico. I personally encountered one just to the West of Chuparosa near where the train tracks cross the main road.

• Scrap 6: Purchase at the general store in Chuparosa

• Scrap 3: Complete a Horsebreaking Job in Chuparosa

• Scrap 4: Complete the "Love is the Opiate" Stranger's task
• Scrap 5: Win at Five Finger Fillet in Torquemada

• Scrap 6: Purchase at the general store in Escalera - This scrap piece cannot be purchased until you've completed the mission, "An Appointed Time".

US Army Uniform

HOW TO OBTAIN:

Complete all of the following requirements to unlock the outfit.

• Search 1: Search Aurora Basin - The chest is inside the cabin there.

• Scrap 2: Win at Arm Wrestling in Pacific Union Railroad Camp - Can only be completed after "We Shall Be Together in Paradise", when Arm Wrestling is unlocked, although this requires using the Camp Exploit to reach West Elizabeth early. Otherwise you won't be able to do this until after "An Appointed Time".

• Scrap 3: Eliminate all other players in a game of Poker in Blackwater - You don't have to physically eliminate everyone by yourself, but you do have to be the last man standing.
• Scrap 4: Complete the "Lights, Camera, Action" Stranger's task
• Scrap 5: Complete Nightwatch in Blackwater

• Scrap 6: Purchase the scrap piece from the tailor in Blackwater - Must complete the final story mission "The Last Enemy That Shall Be Destroyed" for this piece of scrap to be available for purchase.

Legend of the West

HOW TO OBTAIN:

• Complete Outfit: Attain Rank 10 in all Ambient Challenges

BENEFITS:

• This is a passive reward which makes the Dead Eye meter double in capacity. You do not need to wear the outfit to reap the benefits - simply unlocking the outfit is enough.

Bureau Uniform

HOW TO OBTAIN:

• Acquire 100% game completion in the stats menu.

BENEFITS:

• You are awarded complete amnesty from the U.S. law and can get away with almost anything in the United States

Gentleman's Attire

HOW TO OBTAIN:

• Link your PSN/Xbox Live gamertag to the Social Club by using the in-game menu and automatically unlock this suit. 
• This outfit is included in all recent releases of the game. It is unlocked upon completion of the second mission "New Friends, Old Problems".

BENEFITS:

• Allows you to play in the high-stakes poker game in Blackwater

Walton's Gang Outfit

HOW TO OBTAIN:

This outfit is a Playstation 3 and Game of the Year Edition (including Xbox 360) exclusive. You must have either of those for the requirements to unlock. This outfit is included in all recent releases of the game.

• Scrap 1: Search Solomon's Folly - This is located in the basement of the destroyed house at this location. Look for the steps near the southern entrance to the Folly.

• Scrap 2: Complete a Horsebreaking job at Ridgewood Farm

• Scrap 3: Eliminate all other players in a game of Poker in Armadillo - You don't have to physically eliminate everyone by yourself, but you do have to be the last man standing.

• Scrap 4: Claim a Walton's Gang bounty alive - You'll do this automatically during the mission "Political Realities in Armadillo" if you capture - rather than kill - the enemy at the end of the mission.

• Scrap 5: Defend residents of Cholla Springs Walton's Gang - Pay attention to the random ambient missions (blue dots) on the map. You'll eventually run across one that asks you to assist the residents of Cholla Springs.
• Scrap 6: Purchase at the tailor in Thieves' Landing

BENEFITS:

• You are able to disguise yourself as a Walton gang member.

Deadly Assassin Outfit

HOW TO OBTAIN:

You originally needed a code to unlock which were given away as pre-order incentives with various retailers. It was later released as DLC and included with the Game of the Year Edition. This outfit is included in all recent releases of the game.

• Scrap 1: Search Coot's Chapel - Inside the Church you should find a chest in the back with the piece of scrap in it.

• Scrap 2: Complete Twin Rocks Hideout

• Scrap 3: Capture or Kill Mo van Barr - Appears as a bounty in Armadillo. He was my first bounty, so it's possible he's always the first one you encounter.

• Scrap 4: Win a duel in Armadillo - You'll randomly be challenged by someone near the Saloon. Speak to them to accept. Shooting them in the gun to disarm them will avoid losing any honor.

You can also trigger duels by wearing the Elegant Suit and playing poker, then purposely failing the cheating mini-game. Your poker opponent will take you outside for a duel.

• Scrap 5: Complete "American Appetites" Stranger's task

BENEFITS:

• While wearing this outfit, the dead-eye meter regenerates twice as fast.

Expert Hunter Outfit

HOW TO OBTAIN:

A FREE downloadable outfit from the Playstation Store or the Xbox Live Marketplace. Check the store for more details. This outfit is included in all recent releases of the game.

• Scrap 1: Harvest 5000 lbs of Meat - This is a hunter outfit, so if you want it you had better start hunting and skinning everything that moves. The bigger the animal, the more lbs of meat you'll harvest. Bears in Tall Trees will provide a large amount. Skinning a "War Horse" will provide 460 lbs of meat, but killing a horse will give you negative honor unless you're wearing the Bandana.

• Scrap 2: Kill a Cougar with a Stick of Dynamite - You won't be able to purchase Dynamite until you complete "Mexican Caesar" in Nuevo Paraiso, around half-way through the story.
• Using Dead Eye makes this a lot easier. Although it's tricky to paint the lock on target, it is possible if you keep pressing R1 while aiming the camera towards it. Once it's tagged, throwing the Dynamite will work like a homing missile and you'll get direct hit on the Cougar.

• Scrap 3: Kill and Skin 8 Snakes - You can check your progress in the stats menu under both the "Collectibles" and "Misc." tabs. I found a lot of snakes seem to spawn on the road just East of MacFarlane's Ranch.

• Scrap 4: Kill the Legendary Jackalope - They spawn all over the place and are probably only slightly rarer than regular rabbits. It's essentially a rabbit with antlers. You'll usually collect 'Buck Antlers' when skinning them.

• Scrap 5: Complete "Deadalus and Son" Stranger's task - You'll need to acquire 10 Red Sage, 5 Beaver Furs and 20 Bird Feathers to complete the task. You can collect these in advance, so keep them in your Satchel for when you take on the Stranger mission to complete it quickly.

BENEFITS:

• While wearing the outfit, you gather twice the amount of provisions when skinning animals.

Savvy Merchant Outfit

HOW TO OBTAIN:

A FREE downloadable outfit from the Playstation Store or the Xbox Live Marketplace. Check the store for more details. This outfit is included in all recent releases of the game.

• Scrap 1: Win $1000 Total from Gambling - You can check your progress in the Stats menu under the "Money" tab. The easiest way to get this is during the Stranger task 'Lights, Camera, Action' where you need to play Liar's Dice in Thieves' Landing. The prize pot is raised to $200 per person during this task, so winning a few times can provide enough cash to complete the objective. Otherwise high stakes poker is an option.
• Scrap 2: Buy or Sell Items at every Gunsmith - Even if you already have done this, you have to do it again. The Gunsmiths are located in Armadillo, Thieves' Landing, Escalera and Blackwater. Buying or selling ANYTHING counts towards this.

• Scrap 3: Gather $200 worth of Herbs - You can check your progress in the stats menu under the "Collectibles" tab. Violet Snowdrops in Tall Trees are the most expensive herbs, so you'll need to collect significantly less of them than Wild Feverfew for example.

• Scrap 4: Execute 20 people - You can check your progress in the stats menu under the "Combat" tab. A quick way to get this one is by traveling to Thieves' Landing. The law won't mess with you there. Unholster your gun by aiming it, run up to someone (without aiming your gun at them directly) and press R2 to shoot. You should see a small cutscene where the target is executed at close range - usually shot in the stomach.

• Scrap 5: Complete "The Prohibitionist" Stranger's task

BENEFITS:

• While wearing this outfit you'll receive a 50% discount on all items available from Gunsmiths. This works in addition to other discounts you may have available for high Honor, essentially giving up to 75% off weapons and ammo.
